Like the first shot I love how the framing turned out in this one. Don't love that lamp on the left. We've got four or five really tall lampposts down in the cafeteria that extend up to the second floor. That would be the farthest East of them all.
As I said I was going to, I got out this morning and used my camera. I dragged Sheena along with me and got to the school at about 7:00 to take pictures of the sunrise. I'd noticed last week when I was there early that the windows on the East of the building let in a lot of really beautiful natural light first thing in the morning. So, yeah..
My high school is only about four years old, so the architecture is pretty neat, and allowed for some nice shots, even though I am still pretty rusty with my camera.
I don't know if I noticed the lamp post till you mentioned it. And even now I don't think it detracts from the picture, though you are the artist.
As for the picture I really like how sad it feels, almost like someone is mourning. It's long and empty, and the way that gleam of light falls on the floor it looks like the shadow of a ghost.
