Artist's Comments

A big chunk of the afternoon of day four was given to let us explore the Latin Quarter on our own. The Notre Dame is located in the Latin Quarter, so many of us chose to spend some time there before hitting the tourist shops. It was a very beautiful building, inside and out, and the music was very moving.

As some of you may or may not know, I took off for a 12 day trip to France back in late March/early April. I took a grand total of 1964 photos during my trip, and am only now getting around to uploading a small selection of them D= My apologies!

Woww <3 Awesome colours and mood. I think that the sort of "motion" of the flames was caught really, really well. This is a gorgeous shot.

Is that a reflection back there or another table of candles? Either way, the softer focus is lovely.

That glow is so perfect with the darkness, definately seems very tranquil.

This strongly reminds me of Firefly, I suppose it's from the warmness of the light being so firmly contrasted by the solidness of the dark. Which makes a good play on themes. I like it.
