V6.. Halp?

Mon Jul 14, 2008, 10:05 AM
Ever since V6 came out I've been having a lot of issues.. It's constantly signing me out, or saying deviations can't be deleted at this time. This often results in Firefox(3) crashing. Anyone else having the same issues, or is it just me and my lovely browser?

I know there are always things to be fixed with new systems, I just want to know if I'm the only one or not D=

John Wayne Gacy

Sooo, obviously that whole "IMMA GET BACK INTO PHOTOGRAPHIEZ" bit was a whole bunch of epic phail.

To make up for it, I'll do a cheesy tag journal thing, because I've been breaking the rules and not passing it on. OOPS.

Leave a comment, and I'll answer the following. SUPER EXCITING.

a) Why did I befriend you?
b) What do I associate you with?
c) What do I like about you?
d) What's a special memory I have of you?
e) What's something I've always wanted to know about you?

In return, you're supposed to post this in your journal, but since I ignored it you can to. I am not the police of the intarwebs.

Interesting tidbit - I never knew the backstory of the John Gacy song by Sufjan Stevens until yesterday, when I finally decided to look into it. Reading about serial killers has become a bad habbit thanks to Wikipedia and Alex. Anywho, his is one of the less creepy stories out there, though that's not saying much.

Tidbit 2 - I'm working at the Stampede until the 13th. Come say hai?

Tidbit 3 - I can't change my mood. It won't load.

I'm done.

I just wanted to thank everyone for the positive feedback on my recent photos. It felt good to get my camera out again and it's been really encouraging to see that other people have enjoyed the results.

And because I've been getting back into DA I've also been getting back into other photo sites, including [link]. It's a little photo project in which "participants post a photograph to fit a theme based on a noun, verb, or adjective" each week. I recommend checking it out. It's nothing too serious, and a lot of fun. So far I've only uploaded pictures I'd already taken that happened to fit the theme, but I might actually try going out to get a shot next week.

I stuck to it and took pictures this morning. Used my camera for the first in a year, really. The first photo is up and others will be following shortly, but there are a few that won't be making it here and those can be found on my Flickr account [link]

As for any self portraits, I haven't done them. Still getting used to these braces and trying to fight a nasty head cold. Not fun. Self portraiture can wait ><

So I'll end off with a thanks to all the creative people on this website that I've been watching. Lots of motivation for me to get out and actually do something at least semi-artistic. Particular thanks to Jean(:iconsilvernights:) and Satah(:iconsatah:) for being particularly awesome.

Have a good week, all.

Simple story: I haven't used my camera since my trip to France last year. I've sat around on DA watching artists improve and expand, and I have done nothing. Lazy, scared? Who knows, who cares? Spring is here again and I'm in the mood to get some creative juices flowing.

The plan:
-Stop feeling bad about being le suck at photography, srsly
-New ID time! My hair has grown long and been cut short since that last ID, so it's time for an update.
-Hit the school early Monday morning for sunrise shots.

I've wanted to take pictures of the school all year. It's a fairly new school, so the architecture is pretty nice, and the east end has huge windows upstairs which make for really pretty sunrise study times. I would assume(hope) that translates to photos as well.

So hopefully there will be some new stuff up from me in the next week.

Have a good weekend =)
